VICTORY HOUSE
Female Veteran Home

The vision started over three years ago, when Elder Vernissa Thomas asked her husband, Pastor Paul Thomas, if their congregation could purchase the house across the street from the church. In December 2016, the church purchased the house and the vision slowly began to take shape. The house was gutted down to the studs but due to the lack of funding, sat with little work being done over the course of the next two years. In October 2019, we decided to fully trust God and take a leap of faith to create a shared space for Veteran Women.  With the church’s “Change for Change Campaign” funds work on the house began again and within a short nine weeks the house was completely renovated and furnished. The house is now a home!  It boasts a wonderfully warm and inviting environment which includes two full bathrooms and five bedrooms. Complete rewiring of electricity and plumbing, two new HVAC units, new roof; Wi-Fi, cable TV and security system.

The Victory House is a home for our female veterans to regroup, regain their footing, straighten out thier crown and be empowered to live victoriously.
